Popular veteran comedian and TV host Vic Sotto gave his opinion this week on 'Eat Bulaga' host Wally Bayola’s sex scandal, saying that the 41-year-old comedian should apologize to her fans and the public.

The sex scandal involving singer, comedian and host Wally Bayola and dancer Yoshika “Yosh” Rivera became public in September 2013 when a six-minute video was uploaded to YouTube late Monday, September 3, and spread like wildfire on Facebook the following day.

In an interview on ABS-CBN's morning show "Kris TV" hosted by Kris Aquino, Vic Sotto revealed that it was the management of GMA 7’s decision to let Bayola take a break after the controversy broke out.

Sotto, who is now promoting his film "My Little Bossings" with Aquino and her son, James "Bimby" Yap Jr., confidently said that he can ask the management to bring Bayola back to the show, but added that he believes it is just right that Bayola should ask for forgiveness first for what happened.

"Yeah, I can. For me kasi, personally OK lang naman but he has to apologize. I think people will understand," Sotto said.

"Alam mo naman mapagpatawad ang Filipino," added Sotto, who stressed that it was management's decision to let Bayola take a break for a while.

"I have nothing to do with that. I think it's management's decision," Sotto added.
