And the fake annnouncement: "CHED: College classes are now officially suspended due to strong winds and rain. Some routes are inaccessible due to floods."
But CHED Executive Director Julito Vitriolo reiterated that only "storm signal number 3 indicates automatic suspension of classes in higher education." CHED leaves it up to colleges and universities to suspend classes.
One of the unexpected CHED updates in the Twitter said "CHED to give recommendation on suspension of classes in tertiary level by 10pm via @dost_pagasa." (See screenshot below.)
